1. Register for a PayPal Account
First, you’ll need to create a PayPal account using your personal information. This will allow you to securely manage your payments and link your card to PayPal.
Visit the PayPal Sign-Up Page: Choose Sign Up.
Select Personal Account: Choose the Personal account type. LINK
Enter Personal Information: Provide the required personal details.
Enter Your Address and Phone Number: Add your current contact information.
Agree to the Terms: Review and accept PayPal’s terms and conditions.
Confirm Your Email: Check your email for a confirmation link from PayPal and click it to verify your account.
2. Link Your Debit or Credit Card to PayPal
Once your PayPal account is registered, you’ll need to link your Visa or Mastercard so you can use it to make payments through PayPal.
Log In to PayPal: Enter your username and password.
Go to Your Wallet: Click the Wallet option at the top of the page.
Link a Card: Select Link a debit or credit card.
Enter Your Card Details: Input your card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address.
Save Your Card: Click Link Card to complete the process.
3. Verify Your Card Before Making Your First Transaction
For additional security, PayPal may require you to verify your linked card. This involves confirming a small temporary charge that appears on your card statement.
Access Your Wallet: Log in to PayPal and go to the Wallet section.
Select Your Card: Click on the card you have added.
Start Verification: Click Confirm Card and follow the prompts.
Check Your Card Statement: PayPal will make a small charge to your card containing a unique 4-digit code.
Enter the Verification Code: Once the charge appears on your card statement, enter the 4-digit code in PayPal to complete the verification.
4. Pay for Your Transactions Through PayPal
Once your card is linked and verified, you can use PayPal as a payment method when completing your transactions on P1.
Choose PayPal at Checkout: On P1, select PayPal as your payment method. LINK
Log In to PayPal: Enter your PayPal email address and password.
Select Your Payment Method: Choose your linked Visa or Mastercard.
Review and Confirm: Check that all payment details are correct, then confirm the payment.
