Important: Use your Master password to trade, not your Investor (read-only) password. If your trading buttons are greyed out, that's almost always why.
Once your account is issued, you'll receive your login credentials by email and in your dashboard. Here's how to connect them to MetaTrader 5.
Desktop
Download and open MT5 (from the P1 dashboard, or directly from MetaQuotes).
Go to File > Open an Account (or right-click Accounts in the Navigator panel and choose Open an Account).
Search for the P1 server name shown in your dashboard credentials, and select it from the list - don't type it manually, as it needs to match exactly.
Choose Connect to an existing trade account, then enter your Login and Password exactly as shown in your dashboard.
Click Finish. You should see live prices update in Market Watch once connected.
Mobile (iOS / Android)
Open the MT5 app and tap the menu icon, then Login to an existing account.
Search for the P1 server name, then enter your Login and Password.
Common login issues
Trading buttons are greyed out: you're likely logged in with the Investor (read-only) password rather than the Master password. Log out and log back in using your Master password.
Server not found: the server name must match your dashboard credentials exactly - search again rather than typing it from memory.
Your credentials include two passwords: a Master password (for trading) and an Investor password (read-only, for sharing your results without giving away trading access). Keep both safe, and only share the Investor password if you ever need to.
