What can I trade, and what are the costs and leverage?

What you can trade on P1 - forex, indices, metals, commodities and crypto - and the leverage, spreads, commissions and swaps that apply.

P1 offers a broad multi-asset range that mirrors live market conditions, with transparent pricing and leverage set per asset class. A professional environment has to offer the same markets and conditions professionals actually trade, or the skills wouldn’t transfer - so the instruments, costs and leverage below are built to reflect real trading rather than a simplified product set.

What you can trade

You can trade forex (majors, minors and exotics), indices, precious metals, commodities and cryptocurrencies. A broad range lets traders prove themselves in the instruments that genuinely fit their strategy; available symbols and their conditions are shown on the platform.

What can I trade, and what are the costs and leverage?

Maximum leverage is set per asset class and varies by challenge type and strategy: forex generally carries the highest leverage, with progressively lower leverage on indices, metals, commodities and cryptocurrencies, and Day Trading higher than Swing. It is tuned to volatility rather than set as one blanket number, because volatile assets move against a position faster and uniform leverage would create outsized, unrealistic risk. The full table for your challenge and strategy is on the Trading Objectives page, and the Double Leverage add-on can raise it where available.

Spreads, commissions & swaps

P1 uses transparent, raw-style pricing that is the same across every challenge type, both strategies, and all phases: forex is $5 round-trip per lot; indices trade on raw spread with no separate commission; precious metals, commodities and cryptocurrencies are charged as a percentage of volume. Real desks trade on raw, transparent costs, so we replicate them rather than hiding markups in wider spreads. Commissions and swaps count toward your Maximum Daily and Maximum Total Loss, for the same reason they do in real life - managing them is part of the skill we’re evaluating. Swaps (overnight financing) apply to positions held overnight; Day Trading positions close intraday so swaps generally do not apply, and the 3-Day Zero Swap Fee add-on can waive them for a position’s first three days.
