Here is the step-by-step journey:
1. The Evaluation (Choosing Your Path) You pay a single, one-time fee to enter a Challenge. You will trade a virtual balance within an elite simulated environment that closely mirrors the pricing, asset classes, and liquidity conditions of live financial markets. The primary goal is to successfully pass the evaluation requirements to advance to the Funded Phase. P1 Prop Markets offers three distinct pathways:
2-Step Challenge: Requires passing two sequential evaluation phases before advancing to the Funded Phase.
1-Step Challenge: Requires passing a single evaluation phase to reach the Funded Phase.
Instant Challenge: Bypasses the evaluation entirely, placing you directly into the Funded Phase from day one.
2. The Objectives (Trading with Discipline) During an evaluation, you must meet defined profit targets while strictly adhering to specific drawdown limits, risk controls, and profit consistency rules. Each challenge tier features distinct objectives that define its difficulty level and dictate the final risk-to-reward ratio. Success requires executing your strategy while respecting our institutional risk management parameters and avoiding prohibited practices.
3. The Reward (The Funded Phase) Upon advancing from an evaluation (or purchasing an Instant Challenge), you are assigned a Funded Account. While you continue to trade in a fully simulated environment, you become eligible to earn real financial payouts based on your simulated realized profits. In the Funded Phase, there are no minimum profit targets; your objective is simply to generate profit while maintaining your risk limits. The simulated profit you successfully lock in can be claimed as a real-world payout, calculated according to the payout split ratio defined by your specific challenge tier.
