P1 Prop Markets rules, conditions, and procedures for requesting and receiving trader payouts.

P
Written by P1 Prop

1. Introduction

1.1 This Payout Policy ("Policy") sets out the rules, conditions, and procedures governing the distribution of trader Payouts ("Payouts") for participants operating a funded account provided by P1 (collectively, "we", "us", "our").

1.2 This Policy forms an integral part of the P1 Legal Suite and must be read together with the General Terms & Conditions, Trading Rules, Forbidden Practices, Refund & Cancellation Policy, AML Policy, and any other applicable P1 documentation.

1.3 By requesting or receiving a Payout, the trader confirms acceptance of this Policy.

2. Eligibility for Payouts

2.1 A trader becomes eligible to request a Payout only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The trader holds an active funded account issued by P1.

  • The account is in net profit after all open positions have been closed.

  • The trader has completed the minimum waiting period set out in Section 3.

  • The trader has successfully completed all KYC and AML verification requirements deemed necessary by P1.

  • No breach of the Trading Rules or Forbidden Practices has occurred.

  • The account has passed P1’s compliance and risk review.

  • The net Payout amount meets the minimum threshold of $100.

2.2 P1 reserves the right to request additional information or documentation before approving any Payout.

3. Payout Schedule

3.1 First Payout

The first payout may be requested 7 calendar days after the funded account has been issued.

3.2 Recurring Payout

Subsequent payout requests may be submitted every 7 calendar days thereafter, provided all eligibility criteria continue to be met.

3.3 Early Requests

Early Payout requests may be considered at P1’s discretion. Approval is not guaranteed.

3.4 Processing Timeline

Once a payout request is approved, the processing timeline in Section 7 applies.

4. Payout Structure

4.1 The applicable Payouts percentage may vary depending on:

  • the specific program or account type;

  • promotional or temporary offers;

  • internal risk-management considerations.

4.2 Payouts are discretionary and subject to compliance approval. Nothing in this Policy obligates P1 to issue a Payout where eligibility or compliance conditions are not met.

5. Payout Calculation

5.1 Payouts are calculated using the following formula:

Payout = (Realised Profits − Realised Losses) × Payout Ratio

The Payout Ratio is the percentage of the net result the trader is entitled to receive (e.g., 80%, 85%, 90%).

Example:

  • Realised profits: $1,200

  • Realised losses: $300

  • Net result: $900

  • Payout ratio: 85%

Step 1 – Net result: $1,200 − $300 = $900.

Step 2 – Apply Payout Ratio: $900 × 0.85 = $765.

In this example, the trader would receive $765.

5.2 All open positions must be closed before a Payout can be processed.

5.3 If the account is in drawdown at the time of the request, P1 may reduce or deny the Payout.

5.4 P1 may adjust the Payout amount if compliance findings indicate irregularities, risk violations, or prohibited behaviour.

6. Payout Processing Workflow

This section outlines the full operational process from request to completion.

6.1 Submitting Your Payout Request

Payout requests are submitted through the trader dashboard.

Before the request button becomes available, the system verifies that:

  • the trader is within the 7-day payout window;

  • all positions and pending orders are closed;

  • the net payout amount meets the minimum threshold;

  • the payout currency and channel have been selected.

6.2 Automated Risk & Consistency Review

Each request triggers automated checks for:

  • trading consistency;

  • compliance with Trading Rules;

  • high-risk or prohibited strategies;

  • abnormal or unusual trading patterns.

Manual review may be performed if required.

6.3 Account Freeze & Payout Calculation

Once the account passes review:

  • the account enters Read-Only mode;

  • no new trades may be opened;

  • the system calculates the payout using the trader’s Payout Ratio.

This ensures that the payout amount remains accurate and unaffected by new trades.

6.4 Compliance Check & Payout Certificate

P1 verifies that the trader’s KYC/AML documents are valid, up-to-date, and meet all compliance requirements at the time of each payout.

Upon approval, P1 issues a Payout Certificate containing:

  • account details;

  • payout amount;

  • applied Payout Ratio;

  • date and time of approval.

6.5 Payout Execution

After compliance approval, our team processes payouts using secure and traceable methods, including:

  • bank transfers (SEPA/SWIFT);

  • crypto transfers (USDT/USDC);

  • other approved payout providers.

6.6 Processing Time

Once a payout request is approved, P1 processes the payout within 3 business days.

Processing time may vary due to:

  • third-party payment provider delays;

  • incorrect or incomplete payout details;

  • additional compliance checks;

  • operational workload.

6.7 Account Reset & Drawdown Buffer

Once the payout has been sent:

  • the account is reset for the next trading cycle;

  • we recommend keeping a small safety buffer (1–2% of profits) to help protect the account from immediately hitting drawdown limits;

  • the account is unfrozen and ready for trading again.

7. Processing Costs & Responsibilities

7.1 Payouts are processed through P1-approved payout channels. P1 does not guarantee the availability of any specific payout method.

7.2 Internal Costs Covered by P1

P1 covers all internal PSP fees and bank-side processing costs associated with sending your payout.

7.3 Exceptions

In rare cases (e.g., high-risk jurisdictions, special routing requirements, extraordinary provider charges), additional fees may apply. If this occurs, you will be informed in advance before the payout is processed.

7.4 External Charges Beyond P1’s Control

P1 has no control over fees charged by:

  • your receiving bank;

  • intermediary/correspondent banks;

  • wallet providers;

  • blockchain network fees applied on the receiving side.

Any such charges are the responsibility of the trader.

7.5 P1 is not responsible for delays caused by external payment providers or banking institutions.

8. Compliance, AML & Forbidden Practices

8.1 Before any payout is issued, traders must complete identity verification, which may include:

  • government-issued identification;

  • proof of address;

  • liveness verification;

  • additional AML documentation.

8.2 Failure to complete verification will result in the Payout being paused or denied.

8.3 P1 may conduct enhanced due-diligence checks where required by law or internal risk controls.

8.4 Each Payout request triggers a compliance review to ensure:

  • adherence to all Trading Rules;

  • absence of Forbidden Practices;

  • no use of manipulative, abusive, or exploitative trading behaviour;

  • no third-party account management or copy-trading violations;

  • trading activity aligns with normal market behaviour.

8.5 If a violation is identified, P1 may:

  • reduce the Payout;

  • deny the Payout;

  • terminate the funded account;

  • restrict future participation;

  • take any other action permitted under the General Terms & Conditions.

9. Payout Denials

9.1 A Payout may be denied if:

  • the account breached Trading Rules;

  • the trader failed KYC or AML checks;

  • the trader provided incorrect or incomplete payout information;

  • fraud, abuse, or manipulation is suspected;

  • the account balance is insufficient;

  • the trader refuses to cooperate with compliance requests.

9.2 Where a Payout is denied, P1 will notify the trader of the reason.

10. Taxes

10.1 Traders are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes applicable in their jurisdiction.

10.2 P1 does not provide tax advice.

11. Amendments

11.1 P1 may amend this Policy at any time to reflect operational, regulatory, or risk-management requirements.

11.2 The most recent version will always be available on the P1 website.
