P1 Payout Policy

P1 Prop Markets rules, conditions, and procedures for requesting and receiving trader payouts.

1. Introduction

1.1 This Payout Policy ("Policy") sets out the rules, conditions, and procedures governing the distribution of trader Payouts ("Payouts") for participants operating a simulated funded account provided by P1 Prop Markets (collectively, "P1", "we", "us", "our"). All P1 accounts are simulated. Payouts are calculated on simulated trading performance and are not the proceeds of any live market position.

1.2 This Policy forms an integral part of the P1 Legal Suite and must be read together with the General Terms & Conditions, Trading Rules, Forbidden Practices, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy, and any other applicable P1 documentation.

1.3 By requesting or receiving a Payout, the trader confirms acceptance of this Policy.

2. Eligibility: Who Qualifies for a Payout?

2.1 A Payout can be approved only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The trader holds an active funded account issued by P1 Prop Markets.

  • The account is in net profit after all open positions have been closed.

  • The trader has completed the minimum waiting period set out in Section 3.

  • The trader has successfully completed all Know Your Customer (KYC) and AML verification requirements deemed necessary by P1. For your first payout, our team will email you a KYC request after you submit your payout request.

  • No breach of the Trading Rules or Forbidden Practices has occurred.

  • The account has successfully passed P1's compliance and risk review.

  • The account holds at least $100 in realized simulated profit. The $100 minimum applies to realized profit before the profit split is applied, not to the amount paid out.

2.2 P1 reserves the right to request additional information or documentation before approving any Payout.

3. Payout Schedule: When Can I Request a Payout?

3.1 First Payout: The first payout may be requested 7 calendar days after your first trade in the Funded Phase.

3.2 Recurring Payouts: Subsequent payout requests may be submitted every 7 calendar days thereafter, provided all eligibility criteria continue to be met.

3.3 Early Requests: Early Payout requests may be considered strictly at P1's discretion. Approval is not guaranteed.

3.4 Processing Timeline: Once a payout request is approved, the processing timeline detailed in Section 6 applies.

4. Payout Structure

4.1 The applicable Payout percentage for your account is fixed by the challenge model you purchased and is shown on the Trading Objectives, Rules and Prohibited Practices page and in your dashboard. It may additionally be affected by:

  • The 90/10 Payout Boost add-on, where purchased.

  • Promotional or temporary offers.

4.2 Payouts are discretionary and subject to final compliance approval. Nothing in this Policy obligates P1 to issue a Payout where eligibility, operational, or compliance conditions are not met.

5. Payout Calculation Formula

5.1 Payouts are calculated using the following explicit formula:

Payout = (Realized Profits − Realized Losses) × Payout Ratio

The Payout Ratio is the percentage of the net result the trader is entitled to receive under the challenge model purchased, for example 80%, or 90% where the 90/10 Payout Boost add-on has been purchased. Realized Profits and Realized Losses are stated net of commissions and swaps.

Calculation Example:

  • Realized profits: $1,200

  • Realized losses: $300

  • Net result: $900

  • Payout ratio: 80%

  • Step 1 (Net Result): $1,200 − $300 = $900

  • Step 2 (Apply Ratio): $900 × 0.80 = $720

  • Result: The trader receives $720.

5.2 All open positions must be closed before a Payout can be calculated and processed.

5.3 P1 may adjust the final Payout amount if compliance findings indicate irregularities, risk violations, or prohibited behavior.

6. Payout Processing Workflow: How Are Payouts Executed?

This section outlines the full operational process from request to execution.

6.1 Submitting Your Payout Request

Payout requests are submitted directly through the P1 trader dashboard. Before the request button becomes available, the system automatically verifies that:

  • The trader is within the eligible 7-day payout window.

  • All positions and pending orders are closed.

  • Realized profit meets the $100 minimum threshold.

  • The desired payout currency and channel have been selected.

Where the selected channel requires destination details, for example a Revolut RevTag, an IBAN and SWIFT/BIC, or a wallet address and network, those details are entered in the dashboard at the time of the request.

6.2 Automated Risk & Consistency Review

Each request triggers an automated system check for:

  • Trading consistency.

  • Strict compliance with P1 Trading Rules.

  • High-risk or prohibited strategies.

  • Abnormal or unusual trading patterns.

(A manual review may be performed by the risk team if required).

6.3 Account Freeze & Payout Calculation

Once the account passes the initial review:

  • The account enters Read-Only mode.

  • No new trades may be opened.

  • The system locks in the calculation using the trader's assigned Payout Ratio.

(This ensures the payout amount remains accurate and unaffected by active market fluctuations).

6.4 Compliance Check & Payout Certificate

P1 verifies that the trader's KYC/AML documents are valid, up-to-date, and meet all legal compliance requirements at the time of each payout. Upon final approval, P1 issues a Payout Certificate detailing the account details, payout amount, applied Payout Ratio, and the exact date/time of approval.

6.5 Payout Execution & Methods

After compliance approval, our finance team processes payouts using secure, traceable methods, including:

  • Revolut instant transfer, using your RevTag.

  • Bank transfers (SEPA/SWIFT)

  • Cryptocurrency transfers (USDT on Tron, USDC on Ethereum, BTC, ETH and LTC).

  • Rise

  • Other approved local payment providers

6.6 Processing Time: How Long Does a Payout Take?

Once a payout request is formally approved, P1 processes the payout within 3 business days. Time to arrival after P1 sends depends on the method: Revolut transfers normally arrive within minutes, crypto on blockchain confirmation, and bank wires within 1 to 3 business days. Processing times may occasionally vary due to third-party payment provider delays, incorrect payout details submitted by the trader, additional compliance reviews, or high operational workloads.

6.7 Account Status After Payout

Once the payout has been successfully sent:

  • The account is unfrozen and ready for trading. Your balance is reduced by the amount paid out.

  • After each payout is processed, the best day rule and the minimum trading days rule resets.

  • On 1-Step and Instant accounts, which use an EOD trailing drawdown, your first approved payout permanently locks the drawdown floor at your initial starting balance. See "What is the Lock on Payout and how does it work?" before requesting a large payout.
Because the drawdown floor locks at your starting balance, whatever profit you leave in the account is your entire remaining buffer. Withdrawing nearly all of it leaves almost no room for normal market movement.

6.8 Payouts Above USD 15,000 per Month

6.8.1 Payouts totalling up to USD 15,000, or the equivalent in the selected payout currency, within any calendar month (the “Monthly Payout Threshold”) are processed under the standard workflow set out in this Section 6. Where a trader’s approved payouts in a calendar month would exceed the Monthly Payout Threshold, the request is also reviewed by P1’s Risk Manager. In most cases, these payouts are paid in full in the normal way. However, the Risk Manager may, at their reasonable discretion, decide that the amount above the Monthly Payout Threshold is paid in monthly instalments.

6.8.2 Where instalments apply, the trader receives up to the Monthly Payout Threshold in the current calendar month, paid within the processing time set out in Section 6.6. The remaining balance is then paid in monthly instalments, one per calendar month, of no more than the Monthly Payout Threshold each, until the full amount has been paid. Before the first payment is sent, P1 will notify the trader in writing of the amount and date of each instalment.

Example: An approved payout of $40,000 is paid as $15,000 in the first month, $15,000 in the second month and the final $10,000 in the third month.

6.8.3 While instalments apply, any further approved payouts are added to the outstanding balance and paid under the same monthly schedule. The total paid to the trader in any calendar month will not exceed the Monthly Payout Threshold.

6.8.4 Instalments affect only the timing of a payout, never its amount. The full approved payout remains payable, and no part of it will be reduced or forfeited.

6.8.5 This measure exists to support P1’s financial stability for the benefit of all
traders. It does not imply any wrongdoing on the part of the trader and is separate from the compliance measures described in Sections 5.3, 8 and 9.

7. Processing Costs & Responsibilities

7.1 Payouts are processed exclusively through P1-approved payout channels. P1 does not guarantee the availability of any specific payout method in all jurisdictions. P1 does not open accounts for, or pay out to, residents of jurisdictions on the P1 restricted list or subject to applicable sanctions. See the General Terms & Conditions.

7.2 Internal Costs Covered by P1: P1 covers all internal Payment Service Provider (PSP) fees and bank-side processing costs associated with initiating and sending your payout.

7.3 Exceptions: In rare cases (e.g., high-risk jurisdictions, special routing requirements, or extraordinary provider charges), additional fees may apply. If this occurs, the trader will be informed in advance before the payout is processed.

7.4 External Charges Beyond P1's Control: P1 has no control over fees charged by your receiving bank, intermediary/correspondent banks, crypto wallet providers, or blockchain network gas fees applied on the receiving end. Any such charges are the sole responsibility of the trader.

7.5 P1 is not responsible for settlement delays caused by external payment providers or banking institutions.

8. Compliance, AML & Forbidden Practices

8.1 Before any payout is issued, traders must complete identity verification, which may include government-issued identification, proof of address, liveness verification, and additional Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) or AML documentation. The verification request is sent to you by email by our team when you submit your first payout request. Your payout can only be approved once verification is complete.

8.2 Failure to complete verification will result in the Payout being paused or permanently denied.

8.3 P1 may conduct enhanced due-diligence checks where required by international law or internal risk controls.

8.4 Each Payout request triggers a mandatory compliance review to ensure:

  • Full adherence to all Trading Rules.

  • Total absence of Forbidden Practices.

  • No use of manipulative, abusive, or exploitative trading behavior.

  • No third-party account management or copy-trading violations.

  • Trading activity aligns with normal, professional market behavior.

8.5 If a violation is identified, P1 reserves the right to reduce the Payout, deny the Payout, terminate the funded account, restrict future participation, or take any other action permitted under the General Terms & Conditions.

9. Payout Denials: Why Might a Payout Be Rejected?

9.1 A Payout may be denied if:

  • The account breached the P1 Trading Rules.

  • The trader failed KYC or AML background checks.

  • The trader provided incorrect, mismatched, or incomplete payout destination information.

  • Fraud, abuse, or market manipulation is suspected.

  • The account balance is insufficient to meet the minimum threshold.

  • The trader refuses to cooperate with active compliance requests.

9.2 Where a Payout is denied, P1 will explicitly notify the trader of the reason for the denial.

10. Taxes

10.1 Traders are solely responsible for reporting and paying any income taxes applicable in their local jurisdiction.

10.2 P1 Prop Markets does not provide personal tax advice.

11. Amendments

11.1 P1 may amend this Policy at any time to reflect operational upgrades, regulatory shifts, or risk-management requirements.

11.2 The most recent, legally binding version will always be available on the official P1 Prop Markets website.

12. Contact

For questions regarding Payouts, account verification, or financial processing, traders may contact the P1 Prop Markets support team directly via the official dashboard portal or at [email protected].
